What are "Opportunities" in Keruj and how do they impact sales

An effective sale doesn't start with an invoice or a contract, but with recording the sales opportunity itself - an inquiry, a lead, or a potential deal. It is at this stage that the customer journey is formed, their need is defined, and the probability of a successful closure is assessed.

In Keruj, a separate module "Opportunities" was created for this purpose. It helps the company avoid losing any potential clients, systematically manage sales, and forecast results.

Why Opportunities are needed in Keruj™

The module allows keeping track of all potential deals - from the first contact until the moment the client makes a decision.

Each opportunity is a separate card with detailed information about the client, need, source of inquiry, responsible manager, and the stage at which the sale is currently at.

This is convenient if:

  • you receive inquiries from various sources (website, calls, advertising, recommendations)

You can immediately analyze which sources are effective, which advertising campaign works best, and which resources should be improved

  • you have a team of managers and want to see who is responsible for what

Each record has a responsible person

  • you aim to evaluate sales performance and the efficiency of acquisition channels

Key features of the module

Recording of all potential deals

Each new inquiry is easy to enter manually or import automatically thanks to integration with UniTalk (additionally, the development team is working on integrations with other services). The card specifies the counterparty, contact person, amount, stage, and there is an option to create a task or an offer and leave notes in Communications. Thanks to this, managers can see the full history of interactions with the client and nothing gets lost.

Sales stages

The module supports the sales pipeline - a set of stages that each opportunity goes through: from the initial contact to closing the deal.

This allows monitoring progress, identifying "bottlenecks" in the process, and forecasting future revenues.

Assigning responsible persons

Each opportunity is assigned to a specific manager. This helps distribute the workload, track performance, and increase accountability in the team.

Connection with counterparties, orders, and sales

From the opportunity card, you can immediately create a sales order or a project without switching to other modules. This is how a continuous chain is formed:

Opportunity → Offer → Order → Sale

The entire history of interaction with the client is stored in one place.

Analytics and forecasting

The service automatically generates statistics on the quantity and amounts of opportunities at each stage. A manager can quickly assess how many deals are in progress, what is the probability of closing them, and which managers perform best.

Statuses and stages

Each opportunity has 3 statuses - "won", "under review", and "lost". This simplifies sales status control and helps ensure no client is forgotten. Users can adapt the module to their processes: create custom stages with corresponding phases.

How "Opportunities" affect sales

  • Structure managers' work

Everyone sees their active deals, tasks, and next steps.

  • Reduce lead loss

All inquiries are recorded and processed - nothing gets lost in messengers or spreadsheets.

  • Improve revenue forecasting

Thanks to the sales pipeline, the manager sees how many deals are heading towards closure and, therefore, can plan finances.

  • Provide complete analytics

You can compare the performance of channels, periods, or managers, understanding what actually works.

  • Increase conversion rates

When each opportunity is processed and the next step is clear, deals are closed faster.

Tip from the Keruj™ team

Record both wins and losses

Not all opportunities end with a successful sale - and that is normal. In Keruj, it is important to record not only won deals but also those that did not happen. This allows analyzing the reasons for rejections, finding weak points in the process, and improving the team's work.

When each opportunity has its final status - "won" or "lost" - you get complete analytics:

  • how many inquiries turn into sales or projects

  • which reasons for losing clients recur

  • how conversion rate changes over time

Such data helps make decisions based on facts rather than assumptions - and improve sales efficiency month by month.

The "Opportunities" module in Keruj™ is not just a record of potential deals, but a complete sales management system.

It helps see the client's path from the first inquiry to order placement, evaluate manager efficiency, and forecast results.

Manage opportunities - and sales will start working for you!
