Data security, or how Keruj™ reliably protects your data

In digital business, data has ceased to be mere supporting information. It has become the backbone of decision-making, planning, sales, and company development. Customer contacts, history of interactions, financial indicators, commercial proposals, and internal processes—all of this shapes the value of a business. This is why the issue of data security today is not at the level of "desirable," but at the level of critical necessity.

From the very beginning, at Keruj we proceeded from a simple but fundamental position: customer data must be protected at all levels—technical, organizational, and legal. Security cannot be an add-on or a default option; it must be part of the product's DNA.

Architecture designed with risks in mind

One of the key reliability factors of Keruj is its architecture for data storage and processing. We use a modern approach with data distribution, which allows minimizing the risks of information loss and ensuring stable operation of the service even in difficult conditions.

The data of each company is logically isolated. This means that one client's information is physically and logically separated from the data of other system users. This approach prevents cross-access and significantly increases the overall level of protection.

Data transmission between the user and the service, as well as its storage, takes place using modern encryption methods. This is a standard but critically important practice that protects information from interception, tampering, or unauthorized access. Even in a hypothetical case of intrusion, the data remains unreadable and unusable.

Backups as a guarantee of business continuity

No system is immune to human error, technical failures, or external circumstances. That is why backup copying is an obligatory component of data security in Keruj.

The service regularly creates backups, which allows restoring information in case of loss, accidental deletion, or a critical failure. For business, this means not only the preservation of data but also the confidence that work will not stop due to unforeseen situations.

Access control: security within the company

External threats are not the only risk to data. In practice, a significant portion of problems arises within companies: accidental errors, excessive access rights, and lack of clear roles. That is why Keruj implements a flexible and clear access management architecture.

Each company can independently configure user roles and define who has access to specific sections, documents, or functions. This allows adapting the service to the actual business structure rather than adjusting the business to CRM limitations.

This approach yields several important benefits at once:

  • employees only see the information they need to perform their work

  • the risk of accidental changes or deletion of critical data is reduced

  • management gains transparent control over how the service is used

Privacy principle: data belongs only to you

For Keruj, the issue of trust is fundamental. We strictly adhere to the principle that customer data is not a resource for monetization or third-party analytics. The information you store in your space is used exclusively to ensure its correct operation.

We do not transfer data to third parties, sell it, or use it for marketing or any other purposes. This is not just a position, but a part of our policy and approach to product development.

GDPR as a standard, not a formality

Keruj has been GDPR-compliant since day one of the product's existence. This means that all data processes—from storage to access—are built taking into account European requirements for personal information protection.

For us, GDPR is not a formal document but a practical guide. Transparency, control, access minimization, and responsibility—these principles are integrated into the logic of the service and daily work with it.

For business, this means peace of mind in matters of legal compliance and confidence that the CRM does not create additional risks when working with personal data of customers and employees.

Security is a process, not a one-time solution

We understand that technologies are constantly changing, and with them, threats evolve too. Therefore, security in Keruj is an ongoing process. We regularly review architectural solutions, update infrastructure, and improve protection mechanisms.

Our task is to ensure that Keruj users can fully focus on growing their business without worrying about data safety. That is why we take responsibility for stability, reliability, and information protection.

The integrity and security of our clients' data is our highest priority. And this principle is at the core of every decision we make while developing Keruj.
